Are you a corporate partner, small business, church, or other organization who would like to get your group involved with the Boston HERC? There are many ways to partner with us to make a greater impact together for first-generation students!

Partnership Opportunities

Care Packages

Organize a care package party to donate, assemble, and send care packages to first-generation students in college to encourage them in their journey

Coaching
>Host a Career Exploration Day at your workplace for Boston HERC students to come and experience more about the career areas represented in your organization
Internships
Provide an internship opportunity at your workplace to help prepare our students to enter the workforce post college graduation.
Lunch Learn
Organize a “lunch and learn” for your group to learn more about the Boston HERC’s work with first-generation students
School Bus
Sponsor a networking event or field trip opportunity for Boston HERC students

Corporate Sponsor

Staff at Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, in partnership with Lawyers for Civil Rights, host a Career Exploration Day for the Boston HERC’s Passport and Alumni Success students interested in law careers. The Barnes and Thornburg team also comes together once a year to assemble care packages for Boston HERC students in college, as well as sponsors the Boston HERC’s annual fundraising event.

Church Sponsor

In addition to supporting the Boston HERC with a monthly gift, Anchor Church has invested in Boston HERC students by assembling care packages for students in college, sponsoring career networking and back to school events, offering space for Boston HERC staff retreats, and welcoming our students to participate in opportunities they have available such a college student nights, job opportunities, and mission trips.
