Passport students from Eastie visit Lesley

Boston is an academic and economic hub: a destination for students from around the world.

Yet Boston youth, who could be first in their families to graduate college, are too often not accessing these same opportunities.

Boston HERC is changing that. Passport students are on a journey to Destination. . . Greatness!

His impact on generations of youth is immeasurable, and we will carry on his legacy in the years to come. For more information on his "home-going" service, please visit (Pastor Roberto is enjoying a 2008 Passport to College graduation celebration in the picture below). ... You too are an Unsung Hero! Help us reach a $5,000 giving match!Passport Coach Nigesca Maxime shares this story: "One of my fondest memories while working at the Boston HERC was when one of my students once described me as their "unsung hero." Those kind words continue to enforce that idea that you never know what kind of impact you are making on someone. Often our students don't feel like they have someone supporting them on this journey and might want to give up. Having our support reminds them that they can achieve the goals they set for themselves. Seeing us, other first-generation college graduates, helps them see that their goals are attainable to reach."Your support today will make you an "unsung hero" by helping us continue to build deep relationships with our students on their journey to greatness! ...
