What is City Passage?

City Passage seeks to empower and equip Boston youth who are under-represented in higher education with the confidence, character, and academic proficiency they will need to succeed in college and break the cycle of poverty that afflicts so many families. City Passage is also a community of loving Christian mentors who are obeying God’s calling to serve others, have recognized the tremendous needs Boston youth have, and are currently achieving success in college or are college graduates.

Navigating the terrain of adolescence is difficult enough with few risk factors present. When risk factors are present, the challenge of traversing the passage to adulthood and higher education is magnified. We believe one-on-one mentoring can have a transformational impact on a young person’s life and make all the difference.
