What is Passport?

Passport is a faith-based college advising, mentoring, and academic enrichment program for high school juniors and seniors. Over the course of 18-months you and your Passport classmates will develop the skills, motivation, and determination to enter and complete college successfully. You will attend weekly workshops and activities from 4-6pm and 6-hours a week of SAT-prep classes. Below is an overview of key elements Passport address for each class year. NOW accepting applications  from rising Sophomores and Juniors for Fall 2011. Application deadline is TODAY! 
 

Junior Year

  • Improve grades with academic support
  • Research and visit colleges
  • Advanced time management skills development
  • Learn project management skills
  • Self-exploration
  • Experiential Learning
  • Cohort group experience
  • Meet weekly on Tuesdays beginning at 4pm at 62 Northampton Street, Fourth Floor.
  • SAT-prep Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 6pm at 62 Northampton Street, Fourth Floor.

Senior Year

  • Assistance with college application process
  • Research and visit colleges
  • Support with Financial Aid and Scholarship applications
  • Polish project management skills
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Experiential Learning
  • Cohort group experience
  • Meet weekly on Thursdays beginning at 4pm at 62 Northampton Street, Forth Floor.
  • SAT-prep on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 6pm at 62 Northampton Street, Fourth Floor.

The goal of the Passport program is threefold: 1) help and support you in having a minimum GPA of 2.5; 2) support your character development; and 3) increase your chances of getting into and graduating from college.
