Georgiana's Bio:
Georgiana has been called to work in the field of Higher Education since 2001. In that time she has worked at various colleges and universities in the New England area, including Tufts University, Mount Holyoke College and Trinity College. Her higher education experience includes first-year programs, residence life, judicial affairs, athletics, academic mentorship, admissions and career counseling. Her area of expertise is counseling individuals, families and groups through transitions. In 2009, Georgiana joined Boston Higher Education Resource Center's (BostonHERC) staff as the Director of Passport and Key2College programs after teaching for one year in BostonHERC's ESOL program. She holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Trinity College (CT), a Masters in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University and speaks Spanish and Haitian-Creole. In her free time, Georgiana enjoys karaoke, traveling, and counseling families as a certified Lactation Consultant.
